Cassville FFA Attends National FFA Convention
Thirteen members of the Cassville FFA chapter attended to the 91st annual National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 23-27. Students attended general sessions, leadership development workshops, the career show and expo, agricultural tours featuring Indiana agriculture and a Garth Brooks concert.
Students also had the special privilege of attending the 9th general session of convention, where for the first time in 40 years the president of the United States addressed the FFA members. Cassville FFA also earned the opportunity to enter an Educational Booth this year at the national convention hall of states that represented Missouri agriculture and Missouri FFA highlights.
Saturday the 27th students attended the American FFA degree ceremony where they celebrated 4 Cassville students receiving their American FFA Degree. The American FFA Degree is the most prestigious degree awarded within the Association. Members earning their degree this year are: Kyle Cheer, Austin McClintock, Jace Mason, and Mattie Stephenson.
